Remote Services

CCA Libraries are open in San Francisco, but continue to offer online services to support remote and hybrid teaching and learning. Find links to services here.

The CCA Libraries offer many research resources beyond our print books, including access to millions of academic articles as well as full-text ebooks. Wondering what we have? The search box above covers almost everything, but we also have a complete list of our online subscriptions. When using our search engine, select the eBook Full Text Online filter to find eBooks. Many are provided through EBSCO; instructions for accessing them are here.

Still not able to find what you want? We are always accepting inter-library loan and purchase requests (login required). Please be patient, as some titles are difficult for us to obtain electronically.

Get Assistance

If you want live help, you can use the "chat with a librarian" feature that's available on most of our websites. Look for the bar in the footer of the website. If you send a message, one of our staff will respond in realtime to assist you.

Our Ask a Librarian form is still open and accepting submissions. We can help with all your library-related needs, from research to library account questions.

Finally, the Help Desk is a great place to go for aid. They can help you with any CCA-related question and the Libraries' staff answers many of the questions submitted to the Help Desk.

Oakland Location

The Libraries operate a space in Oakland, in the space above Blick (5301 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94618) which the Textiles Program used formerly. The space contains bound periodicals, CCA/C archives, library offices, select special collections, and other materials. During the 2022-23 academic year, we will allow some access to the space by appointment only. For an appointment, please contact us via the Ask a Librarian form or email libraries@cca.edu.
