Borrowing information
STUDENTS: All items checked out during Spring semester are due the last day of classes (May 8) or sooner
Please return all library material by the due dates listed in your library account. Students will not be able to check out items beyond May 8 until they have renewed their library account.
To renew your library account, you must:
- Return all checked-out library material
- Be registered for Summer or Fall classes OR scheduled to graduate at the end of Spring 2022
- Go to the Circulation Desk at either San Francisco or Oakland campus in person or email librarynotices@cca.edu after May 1
Items checked out during the summer will have the same loan period as they would during the regular Spring or Fall semester.
Graduating students receive a complimentary CCA Alumni card and library borrowing privileges for the first year after graduation. Come by the circulation desk starting May 1 to set up your alumni library account.
Faculty, staff, and alumni may continue to borrow and renew items until their library account’s expiration date. You may check your expiration date by logging into your library account or contacting the circulation desk if you need assistance.
Library Hours + Closures
Simpson Library (SF) will be open Monday-Friday 10-5 this summer, with occasional closures for construction projects, meetings, and holidays. Check our Hours page for up-to-date information.
Meyer Library (Oakland) will be closed to patrons for the summer while staff work on moving collections to San Francisco. Further details on campus planning and Oakland campus legacy events may be found on the CCA Portal.
