    How to obtain a UC Berkeley library card

    Full-time faculty members from an accredited 2 or 4 year college or university within the state of California may obtain a library card entitling them to limited borrowing privileges by presenting a letter on school letterhead confirming their full-time affiliation with that school. (UC President Clark Kerr extended free library privileges to this group of users on March 16, 1964.) More info.
