SOIL TO STUDIO display + lecture

On Monday, April 17th at 10:30 am in Simpson Library Sasha Duerr (Textiles), Rosa Novak and Heather Podoll (from Fibershed) will speak about their work and their contributions to the Soil to Studio display currently on view in the Materials Library.

Sasha Duerr’s Soil to Studio course introduces ideas of Slow Textiles, Slow Fashion, and plant-based color using the Oakland Campus’ Community Garden as its source of materials and inspiration. Complete information about the display, on view through May 8th is here.
