VAULT maintenance on Friday, January 17th

Update: our VAULT maintenance was successful and we're back online! Thank you for your patience.

The Libraries will be taking VAULT offline around 11am PT on Friday, January 17th for software upgrades. We expect the process to last at least an hour. During this time, you will not be able to upload to VAULT nor submit syllabi through your Portal course section pages if you're faculty. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Wondering what we're doing?

VAULT runs open source software called openEQUELLA. New releases of this software appear a couple of times a year, but upgrading is a major task which we undertake less frequently than that because of the impact it has on our services. Before we update we have to test that the appearance of the web application hasn't changed too much, analyze any new features we may want to utilize, and ensure that all our usual workflows will still function. You won't necessarily notice that much has changed after VAULT is updated, but we will benefit from new features behind-the-scenes. If you have any questions, you can contact us at vault@cca.edu.
