CCA Libraries continue to offer online services despite the temporary closure of Meyer, Simpson, and the Materials Library.
The CCA Libraries offer many research resources beyond our print books. Our search engine covers millions of academic articles as well as complete ebooks. Furthermore, we are working to acquire more digital full-text content.
Wondering what resources we have? The search box above covers almost everything, but we also have a complete list of our online subscriptions.
Physical items from the library collections are available for checkout if you are in the Bay Area. Library staff are scheduling "contactless" doorway checkouts using this procedure.
We are also purchasing more ebooks. When searching our catalog, select the Full Text Online and Book/eBook filters to find eBook results for your search. Or, view a complete list of available eBooks. Most of the eBooks we purchase are provided through EBSCO; instructions for accessing them are here.
Still not able to find what you want? We are currently accepting inter-library loan and purchase requests (login required). Please be patient, as some titles are more difficult for us to obtain electronically and other libraries may also be closed or under reduced services, slowing down the inter-library loan process.
If you want live help, you can use the "chat with a librarian" feature that's available on most of our websites. Look for the teal bar in the footer of the website. If you send a message, we will respond in realtime to assist you.
Our Ask a Librarian form is still open and accepting submissions. We can help with all your library-related needs, from research to library account questions.
Finally, the Help Desk is always a great place to go for aid. They can help you with any CCA-related question and the Libraries' staff answers many of the questions submitted to the Help Desk.
